There are many paradigms.

Some examples include:

Procedural Programming

  • Based on procedure calls
  • Also known as routines, methods or functions

Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

Organises programs based on:

  • Objects
  • Interaction between Objects

Event Driven Programming

The flow of the program is determined by events such as:

  • Sensor outputs
  • User actions such as as mouse click or key press
  • Message from other programs
